What to expect, from first call to final walk-through
Clear communication and professional work at every stage.
Free consultation
We meet at your home or project site for about 45 to 90 minutes. We measure, take photos, talk through your vision, timeline and budget, and share first ideas. It helps to have your rough timeline, a budget range and any inspiration photos ready. We’ll follow up within 24 to 48 hours.
Design and material selection
We review tile, grout and layout options with you and your designer or builder, and give honest advice on durability, upkeep and cost. We can visit showrooms with you, source specialty tile, and create mockups for complex patterns. This usually takes 1 to 3 weeks.
Detailed proposal
You get a written proposal with the scope, materials or allowances, waterproofing details, timeline, payment schedule and pricing. No hidden fees and no surprises. Proposals usually arrive within 3 to 7 business days after materials are chosen, and we’re happy to walk you through it.
Scheduling and prep
Once you accept, we schedule your project, order materials and coordinate with plumbers, electricians and other trades. We’ll give you a simple checklist so your home is ready, and we’ll protect it before work begins.
Professional installation
We typically arrive between 7:30 and 8:00 AM, keep the work area clean and protected, and update you as we go. Careful prep and waterproofing take the time they take. A small bathroom usually takes 5 to 10 days, a master bath with a steam shower 10 to 18 days, and a kitchen backsplash 2 to 4 days.
Final walk-through
We clean the whole area, walk through the finished work with you, and take care of any final items right away. You’ll get care instructions, product information and extra materials for future touch-ups, and your 1-year warranty on our work begins.
Follow-up and support
We check in 2 to 4 weeks after completion and we’re always available for questions. Many of our clients come back for their next project or refer friends and family.
